This is a trial of NBCU’s streaming service, Peacock. This premium ad-supported streaming service is a wildly entertaining streaming service from NBCUniversal. With big films fresh from theaters, hit movies and TV shows, live sports, news, and more! Peacock may be accessible via one or more of the following: (1) X1 set-top boxes, (2) online/web portal, (3) iOS and Android mobile devices, (4) certain smart televisions, and (5) certain over-the-top streaming devices and video gaming platforms. In some instances, trials may require users to temporarily charge their subscription type (Premium, Premium Plus, etc). Typically, a promo code will be provided to cover the cost. Action will be required by the trial participant to downgrade once a promotional period has ended to avoid being charged for Premium or Premium Plus. These trials are a way for us to gain confidence in the product's feature enhancements before releasing it to the general public. Trials typically run 1-2 weeks at a time. They allow us to get the latest releases into a home environment where we get a real-life user experience. Trialists can also report any issues experienced and complete feature and task-driven surveys to share their experiences.
Trial Eligibility Requirements
Applying to this trial does not guarantee admission to the trial. Some factors that could affect your eligibility may include possession of necessary equipment or account service, geographical area, and others, at the discretion of the Peacock Trials Team.
If you are accepted as a participant in this trial, you will receive an email informing you of your acceptance along with instructions to access the Peacock Trials Portal and activate the service.
Confidentiality
This trial and all details of the Peacock service are highly confidential. By participating in this trial, you agree that neither you nor anyone in your household will disclose any details of the Peacock service to anyone outside of the trial, including the media or competitors of NBCU, under any circumstances.
In addition, you agree that neither you nor anyone in your household will access the Peacock app while located in public areas where individuals not participating in the trial might be able to view the Peacock service.
